At Usome, we believe in the power of collaboration and community. That's why we're happy to announce our new initiative Nepal. Starting from September 2024 every Friday, our talented developers will dedicate a full workday to contribute to the core code of Umbraco. This isn't just a commitment from our team but also an open invitation to anyone passionate about Umbraco to join us.
It's our reimagined approach to contributing to the Umbraco project. It;ss all about making meaningful contributions to the Umbraco community.
Open to All: We are inclusive. While our developers focus on the core code, we invite non-technical members to contribute to documentation. Writers can craft articles for Skirft.io or other platforms. Sometimes, we might just discuss recent updates, share findings, or provide guidance for beginners. It's about fostering a collaborative spirit.
Monthly external participation: It's a USOME team effort but once a month we will open to external participants.
Bi-Monthly sessions for Usome Team: Internally, we'll meet twice a month—one online from our workspace and one in-person. This hybrid approach ensures flexibility and the opportunity for face-to-face collaboration.
In-Person Meetups: Our in-person sessions will be announced on Meetup and shared with the Umbraco community. We aim to invite Umbraco MVPs or HQ members for presentations, enriching the experience with expert insights.
Sponsorship and Venue: We're exploring sponsorship opportunities with organizations like support our initiatives.
Whether you're a seasoned developer, a tech enthusiast, or someone eager to learn and contribute, U-coco is the perfect opportunity to help out & learn. Let's come together to innovate, collaborate, and propel the Umbraco community and code forward. Stay tuned for our upcoming sessions and get ready to be part of something exciting!
Calendar will be shared at the start of September!
